Learner Drivers
If you are learning to drive for the first time, we follow the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency "Learning to Drive" syllabus - the organisation which sets the tests.
You may be a complete beginner, or already have some driving skills. You can be assured our training will help you through the early stages, your test and beyond.
As a professional driving school, you have the assurance that we follow the voluntary Approved Driving Instructor Code of Practice.
We provide a dual controlled, manual transmission, Ford Fiesta car, with air conditioning, for training and test purposes, which we guarantee to be clean and tidy inside and out. Spacious, with great all round visibility, our clients find the car easy to manoeuvre and drive.
Practical Test
Your course of lessons will be individually tailored to suit your needs.
If you need to start with the basics, you can move on to learn how to deal with more difficult road and traffic situations when the time is right for you.
You will want to make sure you are competent at carrying out all the manoeuvres which form part of the course and driving test; driving independently, using a sat nav or following traffic signs.

FREE hand outs - road procedure and manoeuvring. These will help you pass your test sooner.
FREE Safety Question hand outs - ‘show me' & 'tell me’ questions are asked during your test. Our hand outs will help you with this, and our discussions will give you a better understanding of the checks you should be carrying out on your car on a regular basis, to keep it safe and roadworthy.
Independent Driving forms part of the driving test. Where required, you will learn how to follow directions from a sat nav. You can also practice following traffic signs, which proves beneficial after you have passed your test, when you might need to plan a route and find your way around a place you are unfamiliar with.
Mock tests will help you prepare for the test – so you know exactly what will happen at the test centre and during your driving test.
Theory Test
It can be beneficial to study for your theory test whilst undergoing your practical lessons as the two complement each other.
You will be asked to answer 50 multiple choice questions based on 'The Highway Code' and 'Driving The Essential Skills', plus a section on Hazard Perception – a series of videos where you will have to identify developing hazards.
